This book. I know it came out in 2011. BUT I just read it. Or should I say I just listened to it.
Let me start off by telling you that I am a HUGE KA fan, always have been. That being said book 1 in the Burg series For You, didn’t grab me. I don’t know what it was, hell it could have been to much on my mind…ANYWAY…My PA Ashleigh told me that I just HAD to read ‘Joe’s book’ as she called it.
I had some computer work to do and thought what the hell. I already owned the book, but got it on audible so I could listen and work.
Well, work fell off.
The more I listened, the more I craved. The more I wanted. The more I felt like I was there in the story as it was pulling me in and wrapping a coil around me. This book is one of my all time favorite books I’ve ever read. I love it that much. I felt the pain. I cried, shit I balled my eyes out to the point of my husband saying ‘what the hell is wrong with you.’
I wish I could forget the story, just so I could reread it again and relive it. My heart aches, but is healed at the same time.
I don’t want to give anything away in the story, but this book pulled me so much that I had to write this up. If you haven’t read this book, you have to. YOU HAVE TO. I know we all have different tastes and if you don’t like it, you don’t. For me though…Joe is at the top of the list for me. I love him. LOVE HIM!
